Universal Taps Nicholas Carpou as Co-President of Distribution

Creating a new position, Universal has tapped Nicholas Carpou to serve as co-president of distribution with veteran executive Nikki Rocco.

Rocco, who announced the promotion, had previously served as the sole president of distribution.

Serving for years as Rocco?s No. 2, Carpou has been executive vice president of distribution for nearly three decades. In his new role, he will be more involved in the day-to-day management and ?operations of the division. He?ll also remain responsible for Canada, the eastern U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Carpou will continue to report to Rocco, as well as work closely with executive vice president and general sales manager of distribution Mark Gaines.
